“Granpa!” cried the little voices. As I walked in from the cold unforgiving winter breeze to my son’s home, a small cabin we all called honeyside. the roaring fire place was warming to my old bones but as soon as I sat in my favorite recliner my four little grandsons ran and slid across the floor to my feet.”TELL US A STORY!!!” came the screech from their tiny mouths. “what story? I’ve told you the ones I know!” Out of the corner of my eye a rather imposing figure sneaked into the shadows. “you can’t hide from me, son! Your stench is as strong as your arm.” I bellowed. “Hello, father. I didn’t realize you were visiting.” He straightened from his crouched stance, filling the doorway. “Didn’t Leia tell you?” I asked. “Apparently not, dad.” he spat. “ Hello son, or are we already at just names? In that case, hello, Krayt.” I Haven't said that name in years. just then one of the tiny mouths opened to say “ Daddy, why are you mad at pawpaw?”
“He’s mad that I named him after a legendary dragon slayer!”
The children gasped “ you're a dr-dr-dr-dragon slayer!?”
“No I’m just named after a silly legend.” The figure slid in front of the fire place.
“Ooo, I don’t think you’ve told us that one pawpaw!” their little faces beamed like the sun at the thought of a new story to share with their friends.
“Alright, fine , I’ll bow to social pressure and tell you the story.” I said in an exasperated tone.
Krayt rolled his eyes “ I can’t believe anyone would want to hear some old story like that!” He started to walk off when Leia strode in and ordered her husband to sit and listen.
“Alright, alright fine I’ll sit and listen!”
“now then if I can begin, Once apon a time, in a galaxy far far away...”
the little ones interjected “ that’s Star wars, granpa!”
“Oh , right I guess it is anyways I tale of the legend Krayt the dragon slayer!”
To be continued...
I strongly beleive that everyone, everyday, puts on a differnt mask in public. I know that because it has gotten to where I put on so many differnt ones all the time that I don't know who I am any more.

THE HUNGER GAMES: the movie review
yesterday I saw The hunger games: the movie, I was suprised, not because of the plot or that they left stuff out, no I was surprised because they made a three star book into a four star movie in itself the movie was less predictable then the book and unlike the book, the movie actually hints to the possibilty of a sequal. My rule for reviews go: NO SPOILERS! so im not going to go into the details. If you were looking for a summary you came to the wrong place watch the movie or read the book or even better, do both.
pros cons
plot holes
told the story well bad camra angles
made sense (somewhat)
4 out of 5 stars
